Choosing the right kit depends on a few factors: your available space, the amount of sunlight you get, and what you enjoy eating or looking at. Here is a quick guide to help you pick.

Windowsill Only

If your growing space is limited to a kitchen windowsill or a sunny shelf, focus on compact herbs and fast-growing greens. The Basil & Mint Duo, Microgreens Kit, and Salad Leaf Mix are all excellent choices. These need minimal space and can be ready to harvest within a few weeks. South or west-facing windows work best, but most of these plants will manage with just four hours of light per day.
